"Your Go-To Guys" ...I help you get the basics done around the house. Cut the trees or grass...shovel the snow off the roof... take the junk to the dump. Theres no need to sweat the small stuff when owning a house!

January 4, Monday 2010.   HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Winter is here and this year I  hope to do more indoor small jobs.

I usually cut trees and do yard makeovers in the summer but that is history now with the snow.

I will still shovel snow on a per-time basis or for week/month contracts if you are going on holidays during January-March.

I can still do some outdoor jobs for people. I was cleaning eavestroughs (1 story houses) up until yesterday Dec 2 even with snow in them. I can trim or cut smaller trees in the Winter if desired

For the Winter though...I am hoping to stay inside more.

For about $100 a half day... I can come over and take care of a list of small jobs that you might have in the house.

I am not a handyman (no electrical, drywall, plumbing etc).

 - assemble JYSK/IKEA furniture

- move heavier items in the house or appartment

- declutter the basement or throw stuff out

- reattach hand rails etc, basic patching

- I could so some basic painting

- etc. ( teach new computer users, ESL, some music)

Why do people call me ?

You may be on workers compensation from an injury... or too busy to do some things or maybe simply don't like doing it.

Whatever the reason.

No problems. I am probably the guy you wished you knew about 5 years ago.

Here again is a listing of some of the types of jobs I have done.

Outside jobs in the summer like...

trimming trees ($60-$80) or cutting trees ($99-$150), shovelling snow ($60 once or $200 a month) & snow off the roof ($150), Spring/Fall cleanup $100, cutting grass ($50 or $150 a month) /doing full yard makeovers in the summer ($100-$200), digging a garden ($60), cleaning out the garage or basement ($60), eavestrough cleaning ($80-$100) etc

Inside jobs like...

move furniture within the house ($50).... help move contents of a church or business $70 half day, cleaning out the basement/attic ($80)  ... knocking down a wall in the house ($50)... accompanying family members to the doctor (or their pets to the vet) $12/hour + car expense ($25), basic painting, pickup/deliver items in my van ($50)...and any odd job or errands  under the sun.  Also in those sad times which do happen unfortunately, I can help do estate cleanups by packing things up for the garbage/donations etc.

Who are my customers and why do they call me ?

My customers are just average people who, for whatever reason, simply need some help now and again. Either just yard work or cutting down a tree because they hate yard work or operating a chainsaw on a ladder. Or light stuff. Cleaning out the basement so they can actually go in there to find some valuable stuff.

Lots of clients in River Heights (Hardvard,Oxford,Grosvenor,Mathers etc), Wolseley, (Lipton, Maryland, Sherbrook, Arlington, Portage Ave, Sherburn, Valor Road, Knappen, Evanson), Westwood (Wordsworth, Caroll,Westwood Dr, Assiniboine),

Lots of clients alos in Tuxedo (Wellington, Hosmer, Hansard, Portsmouth), Garden City/North End/Maples (McPhillips, Inkster, Bannerman, Mountain,Petunia,Mandalay), Charlesood...River Park South, East and North Kildonan and lots o' other places.

Anyhow, thats it in a nutshell. Give me a call because I am...like I said earlier.. "Your GoToGuys".

I almost always do the work while you are out and you pay me later by cash or cheque.

There really is no need to make life any more complicated than it is already. Phone me and its as good as done usually. We will usually meet if its something like cutting down a tree or at least to say how' do.

Go golf, or for a walk, or just sit back and enjoy life.
