Its supposed to rain today..no wait sunshine...no wait, change that ...hailstorm! Who knew? (Certainly not the weather man/woman)
Anyhow, I am still a personal assistant as I said on the main page....
(mostly a yard work guy...but one of the best I must say)
I work all over town. Most of my work does come from River Heights, Tuxedo and Wolseley. Add in St Vital, Transcona yatta yatta.
I focus mainly on these things now.
- Bed and yard cleanups (where weeds seem like they won the war)
- Grass cutting... $150 per month for 4 cuts, or $60 per visit
- clean eavestroughs $80 (scrape out, flush, basic repairs) usually just 1 story, but I have started to flush out 2 stories as well. I tend to do extra stuff that I usually don't charge extra for. Nailing in loose eaves nails etc.
- tree trimming and cutting of smaller trees $80-$150
- yard makeovers. I do amazing work when a yard has been neglected for a long time. Great for when you want to sell the house or just get the racoons and beavers to move out. $150-$250 or so.
Unfortunately, the City of Winnipeg apparently won't allow bags of leaves and branches to be picked up free anymore. Therefore I will have to charge to remove these things unless you have other options.
People usually just call from work..and I go there the next day or soon after and do the deed. You don't have to sit around and take the day off as if I'm the cable guy.

Whats a makeover? Short story...I come in and make nice. Weed the beds, reshape the edges, rake up, trim the hedges and shrubs in there, and trim the hedges on the yard, sweep the driveway, sometimes I'll cut the yard if its small, weedeat a little... make it look fine.
Price is $150-$250. (I probably should get a chiropractor after I finish but that would cost me $300, so I make do and play thru the pain....after all I am a professional...this is what I do)
Why do people call me ?
You may be on workers compensation from an injury... or too busy to do some things or maybe simply don't like doing it.
Whatever the reason.
No problems. I am probably the guy you wished you knew about 5 years ago.
Here again is a listing of some of the types of jobs I have done.
Outside jobs in the summer like...
trimming trees ($80) or cutting trees ($99-$150), shovelling snow ($60 once or $200 a month) & snow off the roof ($150), Spring/Fall cleanup $100, cutting grass ($60 or $150 a month) /doing full yard makeovers in the summer ($200), digging a garden ($60), cleaning out the garage or basement ($60), eavestrough cleaning ($80-$100) etc
Inside jobs like...
move furniture within the house ($50).... help move contents of a church or business $70 half day, cleaning out the basement/attic ($80) ... knocking down a wall in the house ($50)... accompanying family members to the doctor (or their pets to the vet) $12/hour + car expense ($25), basic painting, pickup/deliver items in my van ($50)...and any odd job or errands under the sun. Also in those sad times which do happen unfortunately, I can help do estate cleanups by packing things up for the garbage/donations etc.
Who are my customers and why do they call me ?
My customers are just average people who, for whatever reason, simply need some help now and again. Either just yard work or cutting down a tree because they hate yard work or operating a chainsaw on a ladder. Or light stuff. Cleaning out the basement so they can actually go in there to find some valuable stuff.
Lots of clients in River Heights (Hardvard,Oxford,Grosvenor,Mathers etc), Wolseley, (Lipton, Maryland, Sherbrook, Arlington, Portage Ave, Sherburn, Valor Road, Knappen, Evanson), Westwood (Wordsworth, Caroll,Westwood Dr, Assiniboine),
Lots of clients alos in Tuxedo (Wellington, Hosmer, Hansard, Portsmouth), Garden City/North End/Maples (McPhillips, Inkster, Bannerman, Mountain,Petunia,Mandalay), Charlesood...River Park South, East and North Kildonan and lots o' other places.

I almost always do the work while you are out and you pay me later by cash or cheque.
There really is no need to make life any more complicated than it is already. Phone me and its as good as done usually. We will usually meet if its something like cutting down a tree or at least to say how' do.
