"Your Go-To Guys" ...I help you get the basics done around the house. Cut the trees or grass...shovel the snow off the roof... take the junk to the dump. Theres no need to sweat the small stuff when owning a house!

Here are some pictures of jobs that I did in 2008 and earlier. Where do the years go?

2006/07.

We just cut a handful of big trees. 3 feet diameter, 50 feet high, near fences/roofs etc Done with all safety precautions for both us and the customers property. I prefer cutting smaller trees $99-$150.

Actually, I don't cut big trees anymore. Just mid size ones. Ones that are hitting the garage or aren't really close to the house and other breakables'. (no I never broke anything when we cut trees but why not stop while yer' ahead:)

Cutting trees is not for everyone. It is a world of chainsaws, ladders, broken tree limbs and powerlines which must be disconnected in many cases.  Trees are usually best saved, but sometimes they simply have to come down. Often times, storms break limbs and the tree must be taken down. Trees can damage house foundations if they are too close. The branches can hit and damage roofs and shingles.

Tree branches are taken down in stages starting from the top. We use ladders, ropes, experience and safety to ensure that the branches come down without damaging anyone or any property. I prefer to use a 20 foot long pole saw and an extension ladder to cut the tree down in small parts as opposed to simply felling a tree with one cut. (that one cut can sometimes result in a tree swinging into the roof accidently and falling into the living room if not done properly)

Cost you ask?

Well, the big companies often charge $1,000 - $2,500 to cut a really tall tree and $600 to cut a smallish one. This is due to the number of employees they have, the equipment, the size of the owners houseboat and his house in Southern France ;>

My cost is very small.  Usually $99 to $150 to cut a tree. $50-$100 Extra to haul it away unless you want the firewood etc.

The cost in this case was about $250 per tree because they were a) very huge b) close to power lines c) close to the homeowners house/fence d) close to the neighbors house,

I can trim the branches hitting your roof for about $70 and can often trim all the trees in the yard and hedges for about $100-200.
